Community Guidelines

Akisa Connects Community Guidelines

Our guidelines were created to make every interaction feel secure, courteous, and enjoyable. They apply to everyone, including service providers and customers, who use our app. The Akisa Connect Community Guidelines must be followed by anybody who creates an Akisa Connect account. They reflect the following two pillars, as well as the standards in each department. Thank you for joining us in our efforts to promote and protect a welcome environment.

Treat everyone with respect

Everyone should feel supported and accepted, in our opinion. As a result, we’ve established guidelines for physical contact, sexual assault and misbehaviour, threatening and impolite behaviour, unwanted contact, and discrimination.

Physical Contact

à As the service provider will be in direct physical touch with our customers, we ask that any discomfort or pain be communicated clearly. It is never acceptable to hit, injure, or otherwise seek to harm another person.

Sexual Assault and Misconduct

à We all value our privacy and personal space. It is acceptable to converse with other individuals. But don’t make a snide remark about someone’s appearance or inquire about their marital status. Any kind of sexual assault or misbehaviour is banned. Sexual assault and misconduct are defined as sexual contact or activity without the other person’s clear permission. Personal space and privacy should be respected. The following list provides examples of inappropriate conduct but is not exhaustive..

• Do not inquire about personal matters (for example, about relationship status or sexual orientation)

• Avoid making disparaging or “complimentary” remarks about someone’s looks.

• Make no overt statements or gestures (for example, slurs, or graphic or suggestive messages)

• Avoid flirting (for example, nonverbal, suggestive flirting, or being too physically close)

• Do not display pornographic material (for example, sexually suggestive objects or pictures)

• Regardless of whether you know the individual or have their approval, Akisa Connect has a no-sex policy.

Threatening and rude behavior

It is not permitted to engage in aggressive, confrontational, or harassing behaviour. Disrespectful, threatening, or improper words, gestures, or actions should be avoided. For example, do not uninvitedly share violent photos (such as those that are sexually explicit or portray physical violence) with others in the Akisa Connect community; this includes sharing such photographs in conjunction with an Uber Marketplace Platform encounter. It’s also a good idea to steer clear of potentially controversial personal matters like religion and political opinions.

Discrimination

You should always feel secure and at ease. That is why we do not allow discriminatory behaviour or actions. Discriminate against people based on their age, colour, disability, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or any other protected feature under applicable law.

• Refusing to offer services based on a person’s age, colour, handicap, gender identity, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, or any other protected feature under applicable law is inappropriate.

Post-Appointment contact

Unless it’s to post a review, contact should terminate when the appointment is finished. Unwanted contact, which includes texting, phoning, social media contact, visiting, or attempting to visit someone in person after an appointment has been finished, is considered harassment. Don’t give out any contact information that isn’t absolutely required.

Help keep one another safe

Everyone has a part to play in making the world a safer place. That’s why we have policies in place regarding account sharing, account holder age, and other issues.

Account Sharing

à Account Sharing is not allowed. To use the Akisa Connect app, you must first create an account and keep it active. Never disclose your login credentials with anybody else, and don’t allow anyone else use your account.

Account Holder Age

à You must be 18 years or older to have an Akisa Connect account. This means that you must be at least 18 years old to book an appointment on your own. People under the age of 18 must book their appointment through a guardians account and must notify the service provider of who is presenting themselves at the appointment and must be accompanied to their appointment by someone 18 years of age or older.

 Meeting for the Appointment

à As we do offer at home services,  in order to ensure the safety of both the service provider and the customer we request that both parties first meet outside of the appointment location. Both parties can then assess whether it is safe to carry out the appointment before proceeding inside.

Proper maintenance and upkeep

à Service providers and clients are responsible to keep their appointment space maintained and in excellent working order, including but not limited to clean space, disinfected chairs, and clean servicing equipment, according to the conditions of their agreement with Akisa Connect.

Public emergencies

à During public crises, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, and public crisis situations, Akisa Connect may take additional actions to try to maintain the safety of our platform.

If Akisa Connect gets notice from a public health authority that someone using the Akisa Connect Platform may pose a public health concern, we may temporarily prohibit the individual’s access until it is fairly safe to enable them to continue using the Akisa Connect Platform. Similarly, we may prohibit anyone from utilizing part or all of the Akisa Connect platform in a city or area, or impose other compliance restrictions. Similarly, during a public health emergency, natural disaster, or other public crisis situation, or when the continued availability of the Akisa Connect Platform might pose a danger, we may prohibit individuals in an entire city or region from using part or all of the Akisa Connect platform or impose other requirements to comply with authorities’ guidance.

Service Provider Screening

à Before accepting an appointment with Akisa Connect, everyone who signs up to deliver a service is screened. Furthermore, Akisa Connect reruns these screenings every year and using technology to identify concerns in the meantime. When you arrange an appointment with Akisa Connect, we make a promise to keep you secure.

Service providers are requested to take a photograph of themselves on a regular basis, which we compare to their on-file identity to ensure that they are taking appointments.

All allegations of potential violations of our Community Guidelines are reviewed by Akisa Connect’s customer service team. If you do not follow our criteria, you may lose access to your Akisa Connect accounts.

A good rating honours people’s efforts, but a negative rating might be instructive. Deactivation can occur if poor ratings are given repeatedly.
